Tubes are to have skin, intestines, quills removed, wings on

Tentacles are to have beaks, eyes, cartilages and neck meat removed

Tubes must be white to off-white and indicative of species. No red, yellow, dark, or stained

Tentacle color must be indicative of species, no discoloration

Flavor/Odor shall be clean: not fishy or chemical

Typical of Squid with no signs of chemical

Product shall be firm: not mushy, soft, or dry

Must be fresh, clean in appearance. Product must not look tired in appearance.

- Tubes: True size 3-5 inch > Length 7.62-12.70 cm. Min. 15% of the tubes must be measured more than 10cm in every block by net weight. 

In average 20% of the tubes must be measured more than 10cm.
